Independence Day at Maunalua Bay Festival

Celebration of friends, family and freedom at Maunalua Bay Beach Park  on July 4 featuring local food vendors, Maunalua Talk Story about history and culture of area, keiki bike parade, watermelon-eating contest, live entertainment with hula halau and other local performers. Maunalua performs before the spectacular fireworks show at 8 p.m. Community and non-profit groups offer information on sustainability, shoreline preservation and legacy lands plus keiki games with prizes.
